What started with a dating app message and a first date at a Mexican food restaurant turned into quite the affair last October, when Lindsey and Jay tied the knot here at Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage!
This sweet couple brought roots from both Middle Tennessee and Zanesville, Ohio as they planned an event that would uniquely represent the two of them.
Jay told us that his most favorite thing about his blushing bride is her sweet and loving nature. Meanwhile, Lindsey told us how much she adores Jay for his fun personality and great sense of humor. Being around these two, it’s impossible not to see the love that they share.
Strong relational ties were a significant theme of the day as everyone came together to see this couple say their vows. Lindsey’s dad had the honor of both walking her down the aisle and performing a ceremony they would never forget!
October is such a gorgeous time of year for a wedding, and we can’t help but continue to fawn over how beautiful the details were! Lindsey and all her favorite ladies went to the Nashville Flower Market the day before the wedding to actually create the floral themselves!
The inspiration behind this look was a rustic and vintage vibe. This color pallet that we’re all envious of was themed after jewel-toned colors like emerald, amethyst, sapphire and gold. Even these lucky ‘maids got to choose their own dresses to help bring Lindsey and Jay’s dreamy look together.
This party didn’t stop with pretty pallets and vintage vibes, however. Once guests began celebrating the new Mr. and Mrs. in the Cabin-by-the-Spring, Lindsey’s vision of a rustic vintage vibe was shown off perfectly with hand-made lanterns as the centerpieces and retro thrifted dishes. #swoon
This couple ended their night with dancing, corn hole and quite the variety of beer, which is one of the Lindsey and Jay’s passions. When not being a bride and groom, these two can often be found out traveling, hiking and visiting local breweries.
After leaving as newlyweds, Lindsey and Jay jetted off to Treasure Island, Florida, for a getaway honeymoon with a goal to take a larger trip overseas later.
We truly wish these two all the best that marriage can offer. Congratulations again, Mr. and Mrs. Gregory!
Lindsey and Jay couldn’t have thrown the fall wedding of the year without the help of these awesome vendors:
