Q: How and when can I book a visit to tour The Hermitage?

To book a visit to come tour our venues, please email events@thehermitage.com with your ideal rental date, estimated guest count and a time you'd like to come out and visit! 

Q: What is required to reserve my date?

A $500 deposit is required to add your date to our availability calendar. This deposit acts as a damage deposit and will be refunded to you within 30 days following your event.

QWhen is full payment due?

Your balance must be paid in full at 60 days out from your event date. Your payment schedule is up to you, but we do require 50% of the balance 180 days from your event.

Q: Do I get my deposit back if I need to cancel the event?

You have 180 days prior to your event date to cancel and get your deposit back.

Q: How much time do I have on-site for my event?

Venues are rented for a 10-hour time period. Events must end by 11 p.m., but we are flexible with moving your time frame earlier. Additional hours can be billed upon request.

Q: Does The Hermitage have a private bridal room to get ready in?

Each venue does include the use of one of our private bridal suite to get ready in.

Q: Do you offer restrooms with each venue?

The Cabin-by-the-Spring comes with a restroom facility. For events at Tulip Grove Mansion, the garden and the grounds, we require the rental of a luxury trailer restroom.

Q: Do you have caterers or other vendors that you recommend?

We have several preferred caterers that we recommend. For a full list, please check out our recommended vendors here. We are always happy to give recommendations for vendors we love having onsite!

Q: What are your alcohol policies?

You are responsible for providing your own alcohol for your event. In addition, you must have an ABC licensed bartender to serve any alcohol.  

Q: Can I hold a winter event at The Hermitage?

Absolutely! Our Cabin-by-the-Spring is a temperature-controlled venue that includes three working fireplaces. It makes for a very cozy atmosphere. Tulip Grove Mansion and The Hermitage Church are also heated and host stunning winter weddings.
