Arianna and Matt's August wedding at Cabin by the Spring was bursting at the seams with bright colors, personal details, and happy romance! They held their ceremony on the terrace of the Cabin, then moved inside for a Canadian-themed cocktail hour in honor of Matt's family, before dancing the night away in their (air conditioned!) tent. Arianna donned two gorgeous saris during the evening and incorporated beautiful sari fabric into the table decor in honor of her Indian heritage. During the ceremony Arianna and Matt jumped on stage to help the band for a few songs. The bride rocked out on the drums!

Here's a few words from the bride about her big day:

August 8th, 2015 truly was the best day of our lives, to say the least. The planning leading up to our big day was one of the biggest tasks I have taken on: constant emails/texts/calls with my planner Nita of Nashville Event Planning, negotiations with over half a dozen vendors, and a plethora of art projects my now husband willingly helped me with. In addition, we had about 90 people coming to our wedding, about 80 of which were coming from different countries such as Canada, India, USA, Germany, and Haiti, which added a whole other layer of details. Both of our families had a heavy hand in helping the guests with travel plans, as well as the overall planning.

Our wedding preparation resulted in (literal) blood, sweat and tears from the day we were engaged (October 12, 2014) to the day of our wedding (August 8th, 2015). The day of, it was AMAZING to see all of our hard work pay off with almost no setbacks or mistakes made. Everything I had envisioned came true, thanks to our families, friends, event planners, and vendors.

One of my favorite moments was walking around during the reception, observing friends and family from around the world all present to celebrate us and our marriage, and seeing people talking and having fun that may never have the chance to meet again. Our wedding was the ultimate dream true, and it showed me that hard work during the planning really did pay off!

We love the couples who fall in love with the history and beauty of Andrew Jackson's Hermitage and decide to let us host their big day. Sarah & Travis tied the knot in early October at the Cabin by the Spring. Their reception in the Cabin was warm and inviting despite the rainy weather.

Tulip Grove Mansion has that graceful, elegant feel that many antebellum Southern homes have, but Caroline and Brant's June wedding really made it shine. After their ceremony at the Woodmont Christian Church, the couple and their guests arrived at The Hermitage for a sweet, Southern reception.

We are crazy about the way the lined the path behind the mansion to the tent with draping and chandeliers! Such a dramatic entrance to the party!

Such a happy couple! They were all smiles all day long!

Caroline's flowers were the gorgeous product of The Enchanted Florist. We love the soft pastel combination with the pop of yellow from the container!

This. was one of the most dramatic tent designs (by Randi Events) we've seen at Tulip Grove Mansion, and the effect is jaw dropping. It was the magical backdrop of a great night

I mean, just look at those garlands and chandeliers!

Fall and Spring weddings are the most popular in Nashville, but I think Winter weddings might produce some of the most dramatic and romantic photos. The landscape looks so ethereal in the winter lighting, and the white wedding gowns just stand out so beautifully. Holli and Michael were married on the grounds of The Hermitage this last October, and it was such a beautiful, heart-felt day with tons of personal touches by the bride and her mom! They created the art for their invites and cocktail napkins, sewed pillows and embroidery hoops for decor, pieced together a dozen book page runners, and so much more! It made Holli and Michael's wedding feel very homey and intimate.

Holli & Michael's ceremony on the grounds was gorgeous! And Michael helped direct the ceremony rehearsal the evening before since he wanted a non-traditional wedding party up front. The bridesmaids and groomsmen walked in in small groups of different sizes and then stood on both sides.

Holli's very crafty mom designed the invites herself!

The grounds of The Hermitage have to be some of the most beautiful around! The couple is pretty good lookin' too!

Holli & Michael ended the evening with an awesome party in a tent near their ceremony site so that everyone could enjoy a short walk on the grounds at sunset.

I know what a wedding day feels like as a coordinator, but it's always so much more fun to hear about the wedding day from the bride herself! Holli wanted to share the following about her wedding day at The Hermitage:

"October 10, 2015- a day I will not soon forget! A day filled with so much joy and laughter. It could not have been a more perfect day! The weather was beautiful, and after the rain the day before I had been worried. But the rain cleared to a beautiful sunny day! Throughout the entire day, I felt like I was floating on air! Every one worked so hard to make everything look so amazing! I got to enjoy the day with my bridesmaids and never worried about a thing! The natural landscape of the Hermitage all around us was like a painting, and I'm so thankful that my photographer, Cassidy Carson Lynch, captured it and us so well!

Our Ceremony and Reception were both located on the grounds. What once looked like a blank canvas were now so beautifully covered with fresh flowers from Nashville Bloom, painting an even better picture than I could have imagined! With all the hours we spent on creating door altars and entrances, book page table runners and hand stitched and painted embroidery hoops by my mother, our wedding planner Emily brought it all together for the final touches! It really did feel like a dream! It was a beautiful, cozy, string lit tent with 200 of our closest family and friends where our life began as Husband and Wife! On a piece of land where so much history lies, I'm grateful to forever have the first chapter of our history together begin in such an incredible place!

One of my favorite memories of the night was walking through a field just on the other side of where our ceremony was to take pictures as newly weds before going to the reception. The sun was setting just right as Michael and I walked in waist high grass towards the setting sun, as if literally walking off into the sunset! It felt like a scene right out of Pride & Prejudice, and I will cherish it forever!"
