Q: How and when can I book a visit to tour The Hermitage?

To book a visit to come tour our venues, please email events@thehermitage.com with your ideal rental date, estimated guest count, and a time you'd like to come out and visit! 

QWhen is full payment due?

Your balance must be paid in full at 45 days out from your event date.

Q: Do I get my deposit back if I need to cancel the event?

You have 120 days from your event date to cancel and get your deposit back.

Q: What if I plan a garden wedding and it rains?

For garden ceremonies with a reception elsewhere on-site, we will cancel your reservation and refund your rental cost of the card. This decision must be made at least 48 hours in advance. If you have rented the garden for ceremony with a reception offsite or under a tent, no refund will be given due to weather cancellations or changes.

Q: What planning is included for my event?

Each venue rental at The Hermitage includes month-of through day-of wedding coordination from our on-site staff. If you are interested in more planning, check out our Full Wedding Planning option here.

Q: How much time do I have on-site for my event?

For the Cabin by the Spring and the Hermitage Church, the rental period is for 12 hours on the day of your event. The rental period for Tulip Grove Mansion, the Garden and Grounds is 2 hours the day before and 12 hours on the day of your event.

Q: Does the Hermitage have a private bridal room to get ready in?

Each venue does include the use of one of our private bridal rooms to get ready in.

Q: Do you offer restrooms with each venue?

The Cabin by the Spring comes with a restroom facility in the Cabin pavilion. For events at Tulip Grove Mansion, the Garden and the Grounds, we provide a luxury trailer restroom that is included in the rental cost.

Q: Do you have any required vendors?

We have two required vendors for all rentals and lighting and audio needs. We work exclusively with Liberty Party Rentals and Nashville Audio Visual for all of our events.

Q: Do you have caterers or other vendors that you recommend?

We have several preferred caterers that we recommend. For a full list, please check out our recommended vendors here.

Q: What are your alcohol policies?

You are responsible for providing your own alcohol for your event. In addition, you must have an ABC licensed bartender to serve it. 

Q: Can I hold a winter event at The Hermitage?

Absolutely! Our Cabin by the Spring is a temperature controlled venue that includes 3 working fireplaces. It makes for a very cozy atmosphere.
